Dr. Orlando Armando Elguera Ysnaga is an accomplished chemical engineer with extensive academic and professional experience in analytical chemistry, environmental science, and mining-related research. He earned his degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería, Peru, and later completed a Doctor of Science in Analytical and Inorganic Chemistry at the Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil. His career began at SGS del Perú S.A.C., where he worked as a Junior Analyst and later as an Analyst specializing in geochemical exploration samples. Since 2015, he has been serving as an independent consultant, providing expertise in environmental and mining issues. Dr. Elguera has also pursued advanced academic and research opportunities internationally, including admission to the Postgraduate Certificate in Nanotechnology program at the University of Oxford and candidacy for a research position at the Korean Institute of Chemical Technology (KRICT), focusing on the application of sonochemistry in petrochemical processes. His research interests span nanotechnology, analytical chemistry, environmental sustainability, and advanced chemical technologies.
